Book Covers

My concentration for AP 2D Design, which I took during my senior year of high school, was to design book covers. This was a very fun project for me, and I experimented with using multimedia in my graphic design.

For example, for the Fahrenheit 451 cover, I bought a second copy of the book and burned the pages. I then edited the photographs in Photoshop and worked it into my design. For The Great Gatsby, I broke the glasses to signify Gatsby's shattered reality engulfed in the green light. For The Perks of Being a Wallflower, I used masks on my watercolor paint textures, and for Looking for Alaska, I used leftover Easter egg dye, which I manipulated in Photoshop.
